Resources and guidance for using Nimbus Shield. The application is in pre-release preparation, and support information is being prepared for launch.
Getting started
- No account is required. Begin recording immediately
- Explore the home dashboard for quick log, shield status and insight cards
- Set up Android home-screen widgets for one-tap logging and status at a glance
- Enable analytics or crash reporting in settings if you choose; both are off by default
Logging attacks
- Use one-tap quick log from the home screen or widget for fastest entry
- Open the full attack form to record pain level, symptoms, triggers and medications
- Use the migraine timer to track attack duration and record end-feeling assessment
- Try voice logging with on-device speech-to-text for hands-free entry during attacks
- Records are saved automatically on your device
Daily check-ins and cycle tracking
- Log daily factors between attacks: water intake, sleep quality and duration, exercise and stress levels
- Track menstrual-cycle days with flow intensity alongside your migraine records
- Check-in data is used by insight providers to identify correlations with attack patterns
Understanding your history
- View recorded attacks in chronological timeline, colour-coded calendar and weekly review views
- Calendar view shows migraine, clean and cycle days at a glance
- Filter by date range, symptom, medication or trigger
- Select individual entries to view or edit full details
Medication library
- Define your medications including triptans and preventives in the medication library
- Log doses during attacks for automatic tracking
- The app monitors triptan usage against your configured daily and monthly limits
- Medication data feeds into efficacy insight providers (Pro subscription)
Insights and evidence
- Nimbus Shield analyses your records locally using 19 insight providers
- Free insights include basic trigger frequency and symptom analysis
- Pro subscription unlocks sleep correlation, weather pressure, medication efficacy, seasonal patterns, pre-warning signals and trigger experiments
- Every finding includes an evidence-strength indicator
- Where data is insufficient, the application clearly states this
- Findings are not medical advice
Reports and export
- Free users can generate monthly summary reports
- Pro subscription unlocks PDF doctor reports for 7, 30 or 90-day periods, risk forecast and year-in-review
- Export your full database as JSON or CSV for portability and backup
- Import data from other migraine apps via CSV import
- Nothing is exported unless you explicitly initiate the action
Widgets
- Android home-screen widgets: one-tap quick-log and shield-status display
- Widgets work without opening the full app
- Available on Android devices that support home-screen widgets
Privacy and device storage
- All health records are stored locally on your device
- No account or registration is required
- Voice transcription runs on-device. Audio is not uploaded
- Analytics (PostHog) and crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) are opt-in and off by default
- Delete individual records or all data through the app interface

Backup and phone changes
- Records are stored locally and may not be included in operating system backups
- Export your records as JSON or CSV before switching devices
- Zymric cannot restore records from a device that is lost, damaged or replaced
Accessibility
- Migraine mode increases text size, disables animations and reduces visual complexity
- Nimbus Shield is designed for one-handed operation throughout
- Dark interface supports comfortable use in low-light conditions
Premium subscription
- Nimbus Shield offers a free tier with core tracking features
- Pro subscription unlocks premium insight providers, PDF doctor reports, risk forecast and year-in-review

Bug reporting
- Bug reports can be submitted through the contact information on the Zymric website
- Include a description of the issue and steps to reproduce it
- The application is in pre-release. Bugs are expected and will be addressed as part of the development process
