Nimbus Shield ("we," "us," "our," or "the App") is developed by Zymric and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.
Our core principle: Your health data belongs to you. It stays on your device by default.

We do NOT collect, transmit, store, or access any of your data on external servers by default. Specifically:
2.3 Third-Party Data Sources
The App uses one third-party service: Open-Meteo API (open-meteo.com), a free, open-source weather API. When you enable weather correlation, the App sends your manually-entered latitude and longitude to Open-Meteo to fetch weather data. Open-Meteo does not require an API key and does not track individual users. See Open-Meteo's terms.
All data you enter is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on your device by default. The database stays on your device unless you explicitly export it. The App does not sync, back up, or transmit your data to any cloud service by default.
You can export your data at any time through the Settings screen:
These exports are generated on-device and shared only through the system share sheet. We do not receive or store these exports.
We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information or health data to any third party. The only circumstances under which your data leaves your device is when you explicitly export or share it.
Your data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on your device. The security of your data depends on the security of your device. We recommend using a strong device passcode, keeping your OS up to date, and not rooting your device.
Since we do not store your data on external servers by default, there is no risk of server-side data breaches affecting your health information.
Your data remains on your device until you delete individual entries, use the "Clear All Data" function, or uninstall the App. When you uninstall, all locally stored data is deleted by the operating system. We do not retain any copies.
You can access, export, edit, and delete all your data at any time through the App's built-in features. If you are located in the EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have rights under CCPA. Since all data is stored locally, most rights are exercised directly through the App.
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Nimbus Shield is a tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any health-related decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice because of information obtained through the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and reflected in the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
